A fair review – pros and cons
The host's comprehensive guidebook and personalized breakfast items made a remarkable impact. I adored the homemade potato scones and the charming wildlife garden that enhanced every morning.
The access road to the guest house needs improvement for a more pleasant arrival experience. seating in the garden could use some shade during sunny days.

The room featured a stunning garden view, perfect for soaking in the natural beauty around. Great for couples looking for a peaceful retreat.
The access road is a bit bumpy, which makes for a less than stellar arrival. It's located slightly outside the main town, so plan for a bit of walking if you're heading into the area. Signage on the way can be minimal, which might lead to some confusion for first-timers.

well-stocked tea options, beautiful wildlife garden, comprehensive guest booklet
The entrance road felt quite bumpy, which made the arrival a less enjoyable experience!!! the garden seating lacked some form of shade, making it uncomfortable during sunny periods. Improvements needed in these areas!!!

I had a delightful stay at Monamore Guest House. The garden view from my Double or Twin Room with Garden View was breathtaking. During my mornings, I enjoyed watching birds in the wildlife garden while sipping tea. The room was impeccably clean and spacious, with lovely personal touches like homemade shortbread. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the homemade granola and potato scones, delicious and made with care. the access road to the guest house felt a bit bumpy, which made arriving less pleasant. Additional shade in the garden seating area would have made lounging more comfortable on sunny days. Emily, the host, was incredibly attentive, ensuring my stay was enjoyable without feeling intrusive.

We really enjoyed our time here, especially the cozy room with delicious homemade shortbread and the helpful guest book filled with local tips. The beautiful garden was perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea, and the seating area by the patio was a lovely touch. Only minor hiccup was the slightly bumpy access road, but it didn't spoil the experience at all, so definitely ask for the breakfast options! 🍪

Our room was super comfy! We stayed in the Glenashdale room, which had a lovely view of the backyard with lots of birds. The shower had great water pressure, making it perfect after a day outdoors. There was even a small fridge and all the tea/coffee biscuits you could want. Emily had decorated the place nicely, and it felt cozy. The only downside was just the midges outside when you sat near the garden, but that's nature for you!
